This was a story that really pulled me in and wouldn't let go...but much less painful for me to read than it was for the children in the story to endure the madness of the washer woman.I purchased this book for free, and with most free books the grammar, spelling, and editing mistakes can be quite distracting. If this book went through one more round of close editing I would likely give it 5 stars.

This is an exciting book that will catch most readers with a sucker punch that they won't see coming. Its dark journey will take you on an emotional rollercoaster that will have you actually feeling sorry for the relentless demon. I highly recommend "The Washer Woman" for those readers that enjoy the excitment of walking on the edge.
